The Weekend~

This past weekend was filled with fun and a lot of activity. My dad and little brother Elijah came to visit. Which was awesome! The kids got to go swimming at the hotel! The birthday party was a huge hit. You really can't go wrong with a place like PoJo's. Even though the adults usually leave with a splitting headache, the kids have tons of fun! And Last but not least Joshlyn was in a play at school yesterday, "The Turkey and The Eagle" She was an Eagle. So much goes on in just a few days, but I try to remember to savor every moment. It has already gone by so quickly and the older we get the faster it seems to go! I hope you enjoy the pictures and have a blessed day!!!

Birthday's

So as luck would have it our family has not only grown, but we have increased the amount of birthdays that are held in a 2 month period. This month we are celebrating Emma and Ben's birthdays. Emma turned 11 on the 9th and Ben will be 9 on the 22nd. I have not known Emma as long, but with Ben it is crazy to see how much he has grown and how fast time really does fly. I didn't really beleive adults when they said that and I was young, it seemed like it took forever for anything to happen. Now it seems things change and kids grow at the speed of light! Ben has grown into such a nice young gentlemen, he opens the door for me when I get into the car, he helps his sister when she falls down, and he is becoming more and more aware of the needs of those around him. Wow! I am in love with being a parent and being blessed to see this happen in my child. I do have to give a lot of credit to my new hubby though! I have seen Ben grow so much in the past year since Chris has been in our lives. Ben will be a great man one day and Chris is doing a great job of helping him become that! I am truly blessed! So I guess here's to another year of change, growth, and happiness! Charish your little ones! God Bless!

Hi, so this weekend was great! Im not sure how easy it was for Chris because I was away on a retreat for 72 hours, but he seemed to survive. I had an amazing time with God and was able to really take time with Him and let Him do some much needed repairs on my heart. I am so grateful and blessed for what Christ has done for us all. I saw this weekend a glimpes of how much God loves me and all of us! I saw the body of Christ (Christians) come together from many denominations and just love each other. Without judgement and condemnation, just love. Because God has done so much for us! How can we not give out what He fills us with. I was filled to overflowing this weekend and all because I finally took the time to spend with God. Before I was trying to give to people out of myself and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working out so great, but now as I continue to spend time with Him and remain in Him He will remain in me and I will have the over flowing love to give to others. Bottom line is~ it doesn't come from me, it's all HIM! I pray that I will be able to give more to my family and those around me! To see people as hearts and souls, not just disgruntled people. We are all in need of love! I hope I can give more of that! So, if I haven't told you lately, "I love you" and "God loves you more!" Have a blessed day! Shannon

The whole family!

Hey so some of you have seen my myspace or facbook page, but I wanted a page that has the whole family on it and maybe I can keep it more up-dated. Right? Well we will see how that goes! So, just to give you a run down of our family here ya go
Chris and I were married on July 16 & 17 2008. Ya, it's a long story (maybe that should be my next post)
Mary is 14 almost 15 she seems to love the camera so I already have tons of pics of her!
Emma is 10 almost 11 she loves animals and bright green!
Ben is 8 almost 9 and is good at math and likes to play chess!
Garrett is 8 and love football and most other boy things!
Joshlyn is 6 almost 7 she loves dancing around the house and trying to make jokes!
Gracey is 3 and pretty much just likes getting into stuff, but she always has us laughing!
Well that's us in a nut shell! People keep telling me I'm crazy for having 6 kids now. Sometimes I beleive them other times Ijust laugh cuz they don't know what their missing! LOL
